Ishigaki island is a central town in Yaeyama islands, and many high-speed cruisers come and go to the isolated islands from Ishigaki port. Wax gourd is one of the essential ingredients of the Okinawa traditional dish. In oriental medicine, it's said that gourd cools down the heat of the body in summer.
