Bound for Paradise
Photgraph taken at: Kohama island, Ishigaki City, Okinawa Pref., Japan On a bus bound for "Villa Hapira-Para" Kohama-jima is a small island located at south-east of Iriomote island that is the second largest in yaeyama islands next to Ishigaki, and that is known as the stage of TV drama "Chura-san". The island has two huge famous resort places, "Yamaha resort Haimurubushi" and "South-west resort villa Hapira-Para", so many sightseeing tourists. Two festivals is held in spring and summer in this island, but tourists and people who has moved from other pleces recently is prohibited to join the festival because it's a mystic and sacred thanksgiving day to gods of nature.
