"Oze moor" is one of the largest, and most beautiful moor in Japan. I heard that It has been made more than 7000 years ago. There are many beautiful flowers and plants in summer, and it turns yellow or red in autumn.
Once My wife went to Oze moor when she was a high school girl, she was very impressed to the beautiful nature. So she decided to work as a stuff of famous mountain hut in Oze moor "Chouzou-Goya" during her summer vacation when she became a pharmacological college student. She often walked around Oze moor and love the beautiful nature so much. So I went there with her, her mother and our sons.
"Live in OZE, Lost in OZE" was written by Chouei Hirano, a master of "Chouzou Goya". It is the story of himself and his late son "Chousei Hirano" who was a great naturalist and opposed the construction of "Trans-Oze road" which must broke the nature of Oze.
This place is the entrance of Oze moor area. "Hana" means "nose", and "Yama" means "Mountain". The name means "The edge of mountain", and it locates on the west of Oze.
