Hotei-san
Photograph at: Roppongi(far from "Tokyo met's roppongi"), Mitsuke-city, Niigata Pref. Japan This is the house of my wife's another uncle's (elder brother of her father) in Niigata Prefecture. "Hotei-san" is one of the "Shichifuku-jin", ancient 7 gods in Asia, but he is the only one who was an actual person. he was a chinese Buddhist priest about 1000yeas ago. Today he is the symbol of long life and peace in family. There also stands another god "Ebisu-san", who is the symbol of prosperity bihind 2640-65J's back.
