Junk Point play dirty?
story Many PC users (me too) might consider the Cirrus Logic video chip as a cheap device. Although the all-in-one(video-core&RAMDAC) chip is usual now, I think the typical high-end video card on that days was usually the separated type. The combination of WeitekPOWER9000& DeepBlue colored IBM RAMDAC was a prize beyond common people(?)s' reach.
But somehow, I got this card which seemed high performance with its slim shape, amazed by the suspicious sales copy like;
"2x faster than former video chip!(they might say it was S386C9xx)".
....Yes, it's certainly a good card. It worked stable and actually 2x faster than "the former one". But...I have a doubt if the video chip is what had a rumour of "benchmark specified" performance on that day.it is said too much that "2x faster"....
Anyway, after 2or3months to get this card, my 1st PC has been all refreshed and video card was changed to PowerWindow964.....God bless you.
