story In Jan.3rd in '97, I went to "(the past)T-zone Outlet Branch" in Akihabara'97. It's 2:00a.m. and the openning of the store is at 10:00. I "geshi-geshi"ed ("write to BBS" in Japanese) in the cold car. So someone knocked on the door.
"Hello, do you remenber me?"
His name was Mr.Hagita, my net friend.
I think my "ThinkPad535" which I've used for over 7 years. Mr.Hagita & his girl friend was encouraged to discount it for them & me from 198,000yen to 98,000.
I used this NotebookPC with 40MB of RAM for a long time, but it worked slowly under heavy OS such as Windows98 or Windows2000. I heard that several "Gedo-san"(Mania for PC)s had found this Molex-Connector which was used as a connector between the system-board of ThinkPad535 and 166-pin EDO memory module, soldering this connector to the system board and I would try it....but when I gave this from one of these gedo-san, I thought: "I never can...." I have no tecnique to solder this micro connector with no shortcircuits, so I ordered the costumization to PC-shop in Yamato city. I'm sorry to the one who gave this.
