I thought "It's normal to customize PC".But I was a PC-98(which were local architecture PCs in Japan) user. I was learned to connect the peripheral devices,But I was an amateur as a IBM/PC-AT user which was built on modules and cards. So I confused to try to connect k/b to new mainboard, when I changed the one in my 1st IBM/PC(Tatung TCS-9700VL).There was a PS/2 I/F on this mainboard, but I found no mainboards with this port in showcase at parts shop in "Akihabara". Usually, almost people ask the shop and get the answer such as"All of mainboards have onboard ps/2 I/F and connect mouse or k/b with ps/2 blaket". But I thought....."no I/F.ok,I'm gonna look for a I/F card." ....So,I got this curious I/F card with misterious socket(where install k/b bios removed from mainboard?).Why do I always choose such a wrong way ....? |
