Junk Point | less power of PC110 |
story | I bought PalmTopPC110 and it didn't match to my purpose. But I didn't thrown it into junk box as soon as I bought it. I tried to use it for navigation system. One of the ruins of the trial is this curious card. I bought PCMCIA IDE I/F card made by MICROTECH Inc., but I realized that it was failure...."The drive can't move" "Ultraman(Nickname for PalmTopPC110)" can't drive the media conected to the PCMCIA without external power supply. Then I bought this card as a power supply card ,that was usually used as the connector transfering from PCMCIA Type3 to Type2....as I guess.Certainly, It had a DC connector whose pollarity is unknown. "DiskDock" a external device that connect HDD to PCMCIA with power supply is available, but I thought it didn't seem "smart". Then I connected like this; IDE CD-ROM->Microtech IDE-PCMCIA ADAPTOR->This card->Ultraman ...It seemed so smart, horizontaly. It looked like the Japanese child song,"You are the engine driver, then I'm the conductor".... Since then, I'm planning to look for an AC-adaptor suitable for this card. |
