This card is the first PCMCIA I/F card I bought, and It has turned to be out of date with 2x speed portable CD-ROM drive which this card is bundled. So I thought "This is the end of its life. It's said 'Son shuold go over his father's death'". But....I found that there still remained 5 notebook PCs in my home that was so old that they couldn't re-install OS without this card and drive and I turned to pale.
So I tried to restore it to distore it with both of my hands. Incredibly, It has worked!....Mr.Kounosuke Matsushita is very great. I think.
This host adaptor is OEM of RATOC Inc.. So I tried to install RedHad Linux on IBM ThinkPad530CS with this card and drive, using some RATOC device drivers. But I failed. Would you like to tell me anything about this card?
