story when Dial-up PPP through ISDN was the fastest access for internet In Japan, Terminal adaptors for home and PCMCIA ISDN cards were too expensive to be easy to buy them. In those days my friend "Hachidon-san" gave me a phone call.
"PCMCIA-ISDN128k card is on sale at 3,000yen at Akihabara junk shop"
"BUG Link-boyD64k" a major PCMCIA-ISDN64k card was costed 20,000-30,000yen then. It was very suspicious....but my purse was opened widely before I think that.
It had my longing "2B-bulk 128kbps access mode". Moreever, the card's name"ThunderCard" seemed amazing to me.
I went back home, read the manual....and I didn't understand how to operate it on 128kbps mode.
At last, I understood "It's impossible"
It need windows3.1 and specified internet provider(Asahi-net) to work on 128kbps mode and I didn't use them.
And after then I bought LinkBoyD64k on bargain sale. But....
